Iree Chow(She/her)

Iree Chow is a proud Chuukese and Chinese-Solomon Islander currently residing on Turrubal country, Meanjin (Brisbane), Australia. She acknowledges the many sacrifices of the women before her and is driven by her passion to nurture social change for and with community.

With a background in accounting, Iree has been able to utilise her skills across a variety of roles and projects. This work has been centred upon empowering culturally diverse women and youth by equipping them with skills to make informed decisions, addressing their challenges and strengths at a local, state, and federal level and co-designing innovative and culturally appropriate initiatives to address issues.

During her studies at the Queensland University of Technology she co-founded the QUT Pasifika Student Association (QUTPA) and sat as the first President. Iree continues to serve community, wearing several leis, as the President of the Pasifika Women’s Alliance, member of the Pacific Islands Council of QLD, member of the Pacific Climate Warriors QLD and representative on numerous advisory groups to advocate for Pacific communities.

The genuine relationships she has formed have continued to meaningfully inform her work and better understand that resistance is not a one lane highway.

Daile Kelleher (She/her)

Daile is the CEO of Children by Choice, Queensland’s state-wide counselling, information and education service on all pregnancy options, including abortion, adoption, kinship care and parenting. Children by Choice are leaders in advancing reproductive autonomy and access to compassionate abortion nationally.

In 2018 Daile led the Children by Choice campaign to decriminalise abortion in Queensland and she continues to advocate for free, safe, legal, compassionate and local abortion care for women and pregnant people.

Daile aligns with Children by Choice’s vision, working towards a world where people can freely and safely make their own reproductive and sexual health choices without barriers.

Daile is a member of the management committee of Ending Violence Against Women Queensland and part of the Women’s Health Services Alliance of Queensland. She is the Vice President of the Australian Breastfeeding Association as a non-executive board director.
