Date:  Saturday June 22  2019 | Time:  7.00pm – 10.30pm   | Location: Hares & Hyenas. 63 Johnston Street, Fitzroy, Melbourne

Join us for the One Woman Project’s first event in Birraranga/Melbourne! A diverse range of speakers with lived experience of racism and ableism in the LGBTQIA+ community will lead our discussion.

This event will centre the voices of queer folks of colour and/or with a disability, but is open for everyone to come along, listen and learn. We have a policy of respectful self-censorship and do not require self-disclosure as a condition of entry.

Tickets are available now. If you would like to contribute a confidential question to the discussion, you can do so at checkout.

Please note: When purchasing a ticket to this event, please ensure you access your shopping cart (in the top right hand corner of the website) to proceed to payment. If you do not receive a confirmation email or wish to apply for an equity ticket, please contact us at

The One Woman Project acknowledges that this event will take place on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, for which sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. With acknowledgment there must also come action, and we ask everyone to consider how we can challenge colonialism and white supremacy every day.
