In August each year, the One Woman Project’s Queensland team hosts their annual event, the Brisbane Feminist Festival!

The Brisbane Feminist Festival is a one-day event filled with interactive panel discussions, up-skilling workshops, exhibitors and stall holders, and discussion circles all focused on one thing: starting the conversation about feminism in Brisbane.

In 2018, the Brisbane Feminist Festival saw workshops on creating beeswax wraps through to tackling capitalism from a feminist lens, through to panels on deconstructing masculinity to racism in the feminist movement.

In 2019, the Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever! Keep your eyes on our website (or subscribe to our e-newsletter) to be the first to know when it launches!

I loved the diversity of the speakers and the topics. It was so refreshing to see so many different marginalised voices getting a chance to be seen and heard - I can’t thank you enough!
